Close Call on the Tarmac

Lt. Bounthiem, having forgotten to lower his flaps, landed going too fast, ran out of runway, and turned onto the main parking ramp, hitting a C-123 and killing a civilian who was inside the C-123 as a passenger, awaiting his flight to Vientiane. Bounthiem indicated he had a bad hangover, and I've always supposed that was the reason for his failure to lower the flaps.
